Triangle Tesla will have a meetup at the Alternative Energy Car Show in Roanoke Rapids, NC.   The event is being held at the Center for Energy Education, a non-profit renewable energy education facility located with a large solar farm built on a derelict airstrip.   While this is listed as a car show it will likely be more of an informal gathering of Tesla and other EV owners.  You will also have the opportunity to be shown around the facility.   Facility address is:

For those interested, we will meet at the Rocky Mount Supercharger and depart at 9AM to convoy to the location.  If you prefer to travel directly there, you may certainly do that. 

After the event we will immediately meet for lunch at a local restaurant.  The location is TBD, likely a local Mexican restaurant.   Lunch is optional of course.  Please register here if you plan to attend the car show with a Tesla and/or lunch.  The registration will allow you to indicate if you will be having lunch or not.   Registration is requested to get an accurate count of number of Teslas participating in the car show and number of guests for lunch.  If you are only attending the car show as a spectator, there is no registration needed.

This event is open to all Tesla and other EV owners and enthusiasts.  As with all events, any interaction with your vehicle is completely determined by you.   Some people will open their cars and allow others to get inside to check it out and some people will not.  There is no expectation of interaction with your vehicle at any event.
